Hi Folks,  In 1980 I started an oil company with the help of my loving wife Donna.  With $3000.00, I bought a  1964 White oil truck and a load of oil from Quincy Oil Co.
Now after 36 years, I am proud to announce that I have sold my oil company to my sons Richard and Christopher. I have the deepest confidence in both of them.  They have been involved in the business since they were kids.  They did whatever they could to make my work a little easier.  Both know the business from the bottom up.  They have done it all.

My wife Donna has worked right along with me since we started the business.  I could not have been so successful without her.  Donna will still be involved in the daily operation of the business.  The woman refuses to get old.
I hope to help my boys in any way I can but they will be in control of everything.

I would like to thank everyone that I have had the pleasure to meet in this business.  I wish all of you good  health, happiness and success at whatever you do.

Rick's Outlook
Hi Folks,
Inventoriesof crude oil dropped a surprising 5.2 million barrels.  A rise of 2 million barrels was expected.  Gasoline inventories decreased by 1.6 million barrels but are still above average inventories.  Distillate (fuel oil, kerosene etc.) decreased by .7 million barrels.  They are still high inventories for this time of year.
You may have seen on the news that the price of oil dropped last week.  Between August 6 and today the market has fluctuated .20 cents.  The market has bounced back to almost exactly where it was.  Having 35,000 gallons of storage makes it easy for us to remain stable in situations like this.  We are thankful to have this resource available so we can maintain stable pricing for our customers.  We were one of the only companies in Massachusetts to build a facility like this the year we built ours.
Stay tuned...

Rick's Outlook
Hi Folks,
Sorry, it's been a while since my last little note.  The oil market has been stuck in a .30 cent margin with no real change until the big stock market fall this week.  Demand for oil fell to 18.9 million barrels per day.  This is down 2% from last year.  Gasoline demand was 9.1 million per day down 3.6% from last year.  Distillate (fuel oil) was up 1.7% over last year.  Inventories of crude gasoline and distillate were all up.
I'll say it again, let the energy industry create the jobs that this country needs.  Free up some of our vast reserves of energy.  Everyone realizes there is risk to the environment but that goes with the territory.  If the energy industry creates a problem make them pay dearly.  If this is hanging over their heads they will make every effort to avoid it.  If they don't they will pay dearly but drill baby drill.
Stay tuned...
